Part of Italian Week's 'Tastes of Italy' feature - enjoy an intimate MasterClass with one of Brisbane's leading Italian restaurants. Ristorante Dell ‘Ugo presents a Master Class to teach you how to make the following dishes:- 

 

1. Moscardini Affogati (octopus in Tomato & olive sauce.

2. Tagliattele ai Gamberi (Homemade tagliatelle with prawns)

3. Cuore di cioccolato. 

At the end of the MasterClass, enjoy the dishes which have been prepared.

"As most would know, besides being short tempered throughout the world most chefs follow recipes to the letter on every aspect. Italian chefs however, have been brought up to create and produce from the heart rather than the textbook. "The right amount of" or "a handful of" is virtually non-existent. This has come to be for two reasons, initially because of the confidence shown from people who work on a daily basis and because no two chefs can agree on the ingredients, let alone the preparation in creating a dish. We have tried to keep the tradition by adding just a touch of modern influence. Some may not agree with this but I'll let you be the judge of that". – Nicola
