Aperitivo in musica @ the Dante for Italian Week

This year, to celebrate Italian Week, the Brisbane Dante is holding an “Aperitivo in Musica”. Italian Musician Francesco Bufarini will lead us through different regions of Italy to discover the folk music, its traditional instruments and themes such as love, work and protest. The evening will finish with a true Italian aperitivo of Prosecco and nibbles. An occasion not to be missed!

Francesco Buffarini was born in Le Marche in Italy, where he lived until last year. Today he lives in Australia, where he performs and collaborates in musical and artistic productions. As President of the Traballo Musical and Cultural Society, he has sung in numerous concerts in Italy and abroad and has organized festivals, courses and other events. Francesco is a professional singer and plays the guitar and the organetto as well as other traditional instruments.

 

Aperitivo in Musica alla Dante per Italian Week

La Società Dante Alighieri di Brisbane organizza quest'anno un APERITIVO IN MUSICA in compagnia dell'artista italiano Francesco Bufarini. Francesco ci condurrà in un viaggio attraverso diverse regioni italiane alla scoperta delle tradizioni della musica popolare, dei suoi strumenti e dei suoi temi: l'amore, naturalmente, ma anche il lavoro e la protesta. Il coro della Dante/ Griffith, accompagnerà Francesco in alcune canzoni della tradizione popolare. Alla fine (o all'inizio) aperitivo all'italiana: Prosecco e stuzzichini.
