Description

Queensland College of Wine Tourism

The Queensland College of Wine Tourism is a state-of-the-art training facility located right on the New England highway at Stanthorpe. The College provides specialist education and training facilities in wine tourism for secondary, TAFE and university students in a real industry setting.

The Banca Ridge Cellar Door and Bistro provides a la carte luncheon dining from Tuesday to Sunday during the hours of 10am and 3pm. The bistro provides a daily lunch menu prepared and served by hospitality students under industry supervision.

The feature dish is the ‘Medley of Mains’, a tasting platter served with selected Banca Ridge wines made by Gateway Schools Students under the supervision of a qualified winemaker. Open to the public, guests can enjoy fine dining in front the double-sided open fire place or dine on the deck overlooking the vineyard and lake.
