The 13th century Venetian art form of crafting handmade glass art comes to Australia as part of Italian Week 2011.

 

Third generation Glass Master, Nirvano Voltolina has over than 40 years of experience in the ‘Vetro a lume’ technique, world-renowned for being colorful, elaborate, and skillfully made, originating from the island of Murano.

 

Explore the passion and traditions behind Venetian glass. Presented by Roberto Voltolina, Venetian GlassArt explores the origin of this art form and showcases traditional and classical pieces.

Venice Glass Arts, founded in March 2011, aims to promote Murano Glass and in particular vetro a lume technique (Lampwork) world-renowned for being colourful, elaborate and skillfully made.

 

Venice Glass Arts website  explores passion and tradition behind the Murano GlassArt. Only by making this process known will customers be able to understand the real value of the Glass Artworks made by the Master of Glass.
