The TRIM PROJECT - Performing at Suncorp Piazza on the 2nd of June 2007 for Italian Week

Versione Italiana

Trim Touring in Australia in June 2007The “Trim!” project was conceived in January 2006 when drummer Francesco Pradella together with keyboard player Giuliano Valori combined their talents with singer Claudio Desideri, guitarist Francesco Cavalluzzo and bass player Yann Rogier, to form a band.

These last three musicians had previously performed together in a “Queen” Tribute band and had decided to turn over a new leaf. So they partially abandoned their Tribute bands and dedicated themselves to original music composition.

The band soon created their first tracks called “Shalalalà” and “Un sorriso che non c’è”. These two tracks point to Trim’s musical creation, different facets and show the band’s adaptability which consists of being able to pass by firm pop/rock to evocative rock/dance genre, the whole, distinguished by surrounding and warm sonorities, aimed at arousing a kind of magic.

Trim Band website and promotionThe true passion of these three guys has spurred the band on to create new sounds and produce an intensive groove, along with some ivy lyrics to get their own style.
This musical turning-point required an appropriate name for the band so they chose to be called “TRIM”, a trenchant name showing the band’s incisiveness.

The band is able to amalgamate new ideas and inspirations, introduced by each member and then turn them into music.

They made several sweeping live performances in local clubs all around Rome and Lazio. TRIM’s most relevant performance was to represent Italy by playing in the “European capital of culture 2006” for the “Art Factory” Festival in Patras. They also played in the final evening of the “Velester Festival” in Velletri, Italy where they won 2nd prize for the best lyrics. TRIM also boasts some original tracks recorded at the “S.I.A.E.”.

The “TRIM” project aspires to be nationally and internationally heard, that’s why the band is constantly engaged in English musical composition too. The band’s aim is to introduce their original music to musical producers.
