Degustation - As part of the Italian Week ‘Tastes of Italy’ feature, Ristorante Dell ‘Ugo presents a special degustation menu to celebrate the festival.

Menu

 

Antipata all’Italiana - salumi – olive – grilled vegetables, bocconcini accompanied by (wine)

Prosecco. 

Primo piatto – Lasagna gamberi zucchini (Homemade lasagna with prawns and zucchini) accompanied by (wine) Fasoli Soave. 

Secondo Piatto – Osso buco con piselli accompanied by (wine) Fasoli Valpolicella. 

Dolci – Panna cotta ai frutti di bosco accompanied by (wine) Moscati D’Asti.

Fasoli Gino part of Italian Week 2013"As most would know, besides being short tempered throughout the world most chefs follow recipes to the letter on every aspect. Italian chefs however, have been brought up to create and produce from the heart rather than the textbook. "The right amount of" or "a handful of" is virtually non-existent. This has come to be for two reasons, initially because of the confidence shown from people who work on a daily basis and because no two chefs can agree on the ingredients, let alone the preparation in creating a dish. We have tried to keep the tradition by adding just a touch of modern influence. Some may not agree with this but I'll let you be the judge of that". – Nicola (Chef)
