Extravagant Cinema: from Cabiria to the Inferno

For Italian Week, Brisbane, in 2010, four of the most celebrated films of the Italian silent cinema will be presented with live musical accompaniment at the Australian Cinémathèque, for the first time in Australia on restored 35mm prints, including Giovanni Pastrone’s epic masterpiece, Cabiria 1914.


Official Launch of the Accademia Italiana della Cucina

The Accademia Italiana della Cucina is a not for profit organization, founded in Milan in 1953 by a small group of high ranking representatives of various organizations, among whom Orio Vergani.


“La Bella Figura” in art, food and fashion
